Each year, typically on the first weekend in May, we meet to eat pie while talking about the good works of the church and hearing reports from the various ministries of the church, which include: worship & music, pastoral care, buildings & grounds, mission & outreach, and Christian Education. This Sunday has come to be known at Pie Sunday for obvious reasons. This year it falls on May 5th so it’s Cinco de Mayo too!

Those who are able to make a pie, we’d be grateful of you’d bring one along. Luckily we have many accomplished bakers! All are welcome to share pie and coffee as we hear about the work of the church in the last year and vote on some positions of leadership. It’s also an opportunity to think about joining one of the ministries. They are all filled with people of generous spirit and it’s a great way to get more involved in the “doings” of the church.
