Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent.
CFC offers an Ash Wednesday worship service February 22nd at 7pm.

Please join us as we gather in a darkened sanctuary to pray, listen to scripture, and sing beautiful chants from the Taizé community in France. We’ll then form a circle at the front of the church to burn dried palms from last year’s Palm Sunday service and use the ashes to mark each other’s foreheads, saying, “From dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return,” in acknowledgement of our mortality. We’ll leave in silence, taking our first steps into a season of quiet contemplation.
