This Ash Wednesday we have an evening service February 14 at 7:00 PM. Please join us as we gather in a darkened sanctuary to pray, listen to scripture, and sing chants from the Taizé community in France.

We then form a circle at the front of the church to burn dried palms from last year’s Palm Sunday service and use the ashes to mark each other’s foreheads, saying, “From dust you are and to dust you shall return” in acknowledgement of our mortality.

We then leave in silence, our first step into Lent, a season of quiet contemplation.
