SPECIAL INTERFAITH PROGRAM 2/24, 3/11, 3/25

Sponsored by the Interfaith Council of Franklin County (ICFC)  – a three-part program on the realities of racism entitled, Lifting the Veil: Racism in Franklin County. It’s 3 different zoom evenings with 3 different panel perspectives. We suggest you participate/view this event (as we intend to!). What a great Lenten Spiritual Journey!

Look for details of things to participate in and know about in our weekly Wednesday messaging (sign-up for weekly messaging is on our home page)

This program is at 7PM: The Lifting the Veil program is in a 3- part panel perspective:
Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 7 to 8:30pm
A panel of African Americans who live and work in Franklin County sharing their experiences of racism here
Thursday, March 11, 2021, 7 to 8:30pm
A panel of White people whose families include African American children, spouses, and grandchildren
Thursday, March 25, 2021, 7 to 8:30pm
A panel of Black, Brown, and White antiracist activists sharing their stories from the justice movement

The Interfaith Council feels that the change we hope to see in our country is in our hands now and hopes these panels can be a beginning of learning, studying and a working together to end racism. Contact ICFC or Kate Stevens, president, ICFC for more info
