An updated Sunday School program meets twice each month for kids aged 7 to 17.
This fall we continue our program for children:
   “Spirit- Led Kids”

on the following dates:
Sunday, October 13th
Sunday, October 27th
Sunday, November 10th
Sunday, November 24th
AND
December 8th and 22nd

With a foundation in Christian tradition, we will explore how God and Spirit prepare and support us for all that life brings. We’ll look at spiritual beliefs from all over the world, including native Americans and other indigenous peoples. We will study events in the Christian calendar and seek common themes and concepts among a variety of spiritual beliefs.

This program is informational and fun. Its Purpose is to assist parents in their role of guiding children in their relationship with God and to nurture stewardship through acceptance, understanding and awareness. Older kids will have the opportunity to explore concepts of personal interest at greater depth and to create a project depicting their discoveries. Art, music and storytelling will enhance the experience for children as we explore lessons together.

Conversations and exploration may include:
· What does it mean to “walk with God”
· What does God look like?
· Advent, Christmas, Ordinary Time (Time after Epiphany), Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time (Time after Pentecost).
· How to walk lightly on this earth
· Solstice traditions around the world
· How does God help me?
