We are reading The Feather Thief by Kirk Wallace Johnson and The CFC Book Group will meet on Thursday, January 23, at 1:30 pm to talk about this work of non-fiction. It tells the story of the 2009 heist of hundreds of bird specimens from the British Museum of Natural History by Edwin Rist, a 20-year-old American flautist, obsessed with the Victorian art of salmon fly-tying.

The Book Club typically meets in the CFC library, which is just off the main social room of the church. All invited – do join us as you are able.
