FOURTH SUNDAY of ADVENT – worship & music

Advent is the season when we prepare and awaken to the signs of God’s love and justice unfolding in our midst. We await the birth of the Christ-child with Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. 

On the first week of Advent, we placed boughs on the lectern, the pulpit, the choir loft, and special baskets were hung to reflect the season in the Hanging of the Greens. We had the lighting of the first Avent Candle and started the Crèche. The second week of Advent we added plants to the Crèche. The third Sunday in Advent we had the Lighting the Third Advent Candle and Adding Animals to the Crèche.
