On Saturday, July 25, at 5 p.m. the church will host local author Owen Wormser in conjunction with the Shantigar Foundation in Rowe. The owner of Abound Design in Conway, Wormser won the Nautilus Book Award for his book Lawns into Meadows: Creating a Regenerative Landscape.
He will talk about the book and about the distinctions he makes between lawns and meadows. Hint: he says, “A meadow is what can happen when you give the earth a chance to heal itself.” The talk is free. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.
