Our church will host a Community Christmas Tree Lighting following the Holiday Concert in the Sanctuary. Both church and community members will be welcomed into the Social Hall by 3:30 pm to enjoy hot holiday beverages of cocoa, wassail (spiced cider with orange juice), and Christmas cookies. There will also be an outdoor firepit where you can get warm or roast marshmallows!
Simple Christmas crafts for all ages – 1) pine cones with peanut butter dipped in birdseed to place on the outdoor tree, and 2) Christmas placemats made from old Christmas cards, covered in contact paper.
Christmas caroling may begin inside or move outside (weather permitting). We will light the donated Christmas tree on the front lawn about 4:15 pm (sunset is at 4:18 pm).
Donations of Christmas cookies and your old Christmas cards (that we can cut up to make the placemats) are appreciated!
